Group Policy Gremlins!

I am haunted by a former group policy from the former PDC that I thought had
been deleted. For instance, I must specify disabled for "hide appearance
tab" under "user configuration, administrative templates, control panel,
display". If I set it for "not configured" the appearance tab is hidden on
my servers & workstations. I have tried to "block inheritance" and "no
override" with no success. How do I fix this? Server is 2000 SP4. Clients
are xp SP2 & 2000 SP4.

Have you tried running rsop on the clients to find what policies are getting
applied?

What I believe is (and is supposed to be) my default domain policy that I set
under active directory users & computers which is where I used override the
Gremlin policy.
