Group Policy for SP4 install?

I just added 6 new win2k sp3 workstations to a mixed mode win2k domain. I
created a GPO to install (assign) SP4 to each of these new computers. When I
booted each of them, I got a dialog box saying that Win2k SP4 was being
installed. It apparently finsihed, and on reboot, it began all over again
from scratch!

I finally had to go to the server and delete the GPO and reboot everyone.

What am I doing wrong here?

I need to fix this as Office 2003 is only a week away!

Thanks!

Steve

Did you set the policy as machine or user specific? If it is machine
specific it should work fine as long as you used the update.msi file to
install from that is extracted with the DL.
I have this same setup in my 5000 user org for both W2K and XPSP1a and it
installs the correct SP and then goes about it's merry way.
