group policy filtes lost

I've a W2K server domain controllor, and a second W2K Server also domain
controller.

Two times my AD group policy file are lost from the file system
(c:\winnt\sysvol\...). If I enter in active directory manager I can see that
my organizational units have all policies I has defined, but if I enter
thier properties it reports that the file is missing. In fact, on the disk
all policy folders are lost.

What can be? What can I do? Why is this happen?

I would start examining event log on my server. Do you see any errors there
