Is this not in Home Premium? I type gpedit.msc in Run and it gives me an
error message saying it can't be found.

As an alternative, how do I remove the Google search pane from the right
hand side of IE 7? I use the address bar to search with Google and the
search box just takes up space.

For whatever reason, Microsoft decided not to include the group policy
editor in the Home versions. However, as I understand it all of the
settings are accessible through the registry. You can download a
spreadsheet of all of the Vista group policy settings from Microsoft at
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/...9b-3328-4350-ade1-c0d9289f09ef&displaylang=en
