Hi all. Please can somebody help me? I have a DC windows
2000 server and Active directory. When I apply security
settings everything seems to be ok but the security policy
works only if a user connects phisically on the server and
do not work on client machines(2000 PRO) iven after
secedit command. Iven the "Default Domain Policy" do not
work on client machines. Thanks to all.

What are you trying to configure? Password/account policy can be configured at the
domain level for domain users. Machine/users must be within the scope of influence of
the policy settings. The gpresult tool can help troubleshoot these type of problems.
After a change of policy on the domain controller you should run secedit
/refreshpolicy machine_policy /enforce [or substitute user for machine if
appropriate]. Then you should reboot one of the domain computers before trying to see
if policy is being applied to it or the user logging on to it. --- Steve
