Gday,
Was just wondering.. I'm part of a big company, as a network admin, needing
to create a group policy that will somehow deny access of a USB key to any
local machine...
in other words, when a USB key is plugged in, somehow, i want it to be
rejected....

company has tight security, and USB is an obvious flaw in security, and
needs to be fixed up...

Thanks in advance

Do you want to disable entire USB port or just USB store?

Want to disable USB storage such as usb key or of the kind...
Have been looking around, and it looks like cant create a group policy? is
that right... other than disabling access to installing the device drivers
and such, but nothing that can prevent use once the drivers are there....

if thats the case Sounds like my only options are, disabling in BIOS (not
really an option), someone suggested moving driver.cab, or using 3rd party
software.. but thats outside scope of forum..
