Is there a way to first:

1. Be able to let each domain user that logs on to a machine, set thier own
screen resolution?

2. When re-directing the My Documents folder to a network share (users home
drive), can the shortcuts that are created for My Music and My Pictures that
point back to the local drive, be eliminated?

1) Not without 3rd party software. Screen resolutions are "per machine" not "per user". See www.dougknox.com, Win XP Utilities, Keep User Display Settings. Push this utility out to the desired machines as a Startup program. The first time its is run for each user, it will ask what they want the display settings to be and will reset the display each time they log on. It is not compatible with Fast User Switching, at this time, but since you're in a domain, this isn't an issue.
