ok i have server 2003 any policies i set won't work. I ran run and did
Rsop.msc well that fail . After that i did mmc and tried adding
snap-in the rsop it brought the policies to console 1 window when i
went down to user config and toke a look at the settings i got a
message saying that a bunch of .adm files could not be found at \\(my
domain)\sysvol\(my domain)\policies\(weird number)\*.adm. SO i went an
checked out the permissions on the folder and files and there all
fine. I also tried to take the .adm files from my XP box to server and
then add those files into the GPO that too didn't work. The policies
do work if i log in on the server but on any of my other computers it
doesn't. This is a server that i'v been messing around with at home i
only have two machines. one a tower and a labtop. Please help
