group email program

Some time ago, before losing this program due to hard drive problem, someone
had posted a bit about a free email program that sent individual emails to a
large group of email addresses. It was a very efficient and fairly simple to
set up program and while I have spent time searching for it, I've had no
luck.
Any hints, links, etc., would be much appreciated.

Maybe you are you looking for YAMS (Yet Another Mail Sender)?

In this case, I have to disappoint you, the development has stopped and
the program is no longer available for download. With some luck, you
might find some old versions from 3rd party sites or a friendly person
who mails you a newer version, though.

Oh, and please remove the "virus free" certificate from your signature.
It is no guarantee for anything, everybody can write it in its signature
- including viruses. There are already viruses who do so, trying to
appear more trustworthy that way.

I like Mihov's mailsender. Fats, simple and efficient.
I use it for my mailinglist all the time.

There's even a zip file that doesn't require installation.
