Are there any (truly) worthwhile grid controls available that sell for a LOT
less than the $400-500 I've been seeing ?

infragistics is the best thing I've used. However Developerexpress has very
great stuff too. You'll be pleased with both of them. Those prices include
quite a bit of stuff more htna a grid.

Component One - True Db Grid is great. It, and the whole Component One suite, is FREE in the VB Resource Kit. If you want support on it, you'll have to pay a subcription at http://www.componentone.com
