I sorely need to know how to set and print gridlines in a report. I am
trying to make a grid with 8 columns and 11 rows, columns are not the same
width but rows are the same height. Thank you for your consideration.

Need a lot more details about what else is in the report.

Typically, if you're not using CanGrow/CanShrink, you would
just set all the text box's BorderStyle to Solid or place a
few Line controls at strategic locations.

OTOH, maybe you're report is too complicated for those
simple approaches and you might have to use the report's
Line method in the Detail(?) section's Print event (or maybe
in the Page event).

Set the controls' Border Style to Solid. Position the controls so they
touch on all sides that are part of the grid (from 2 to 4 sides).

Thank you Marshall, the report is not complicated at all, it's just that I
am a novice just begining into Access 2000.
I need the report for a score sheet that the info will be filled into. The
only data coming from the database will be a name and an average for which I
made a query to handle. I have a beginners book to help me along, however,
it is not that detailed. Perhaps you could suggest a book that would help me
in my endeavor and that is not 4" thick. Thanks again.

Just place your text boxes (including however many unbound
ones you need) side by side. Set the BorderStyle for all of
them to Solid and away you go.

As for books, I'm sorry but I don't use any books that are
not advanced nor less than 4" thick ;-)
Maybe someone else will suggest one for you.
