If you put the textboxes directly adjacent each other
(touching each other) and set the border style, color, and
other attributes as desired, you will have a grid like
display (like excell).
Hope this helps.

I've read so many different access posts today that I
think my brain is fried. I need an easy answer to a
simple question. I have made a report, which displays my
data in a tabular format. All I want to do is either:
1. throw gridlines around each datafield
OR
2. alternate the line colours to facilitate easy reading of the data

Since my brain has ceased to function today, I don't know
how to do either one of these. Is there someone out there
who could enlighten me? Thank you!

To remove the spaces, set the can shrink property for the
report band to yes. If the textboxes are all the same
height and the tops are alligned, the spaces will be gone.
Hope this helps.

Yeah I tried that, but then I get spaces between each
row. How do I get rid of those spaces?
