I am having major issues with the grid spacing in PPT 2007, which I can
promise you is not identical to 2003. Aside from the fact the grid has
slightly changes location by a few pixels, I can not use the grib to get
exact measurements and sizes (as the grib would suggest).
Issue:
- set grid to "5 per cm" (0.2cm grid), snap to grid,
- try to draw a box 2cm x 2cm (can't do it, alway comes out at 1.98cm)
- copy that box 9 times and line up on grid (should be 20cm long - nope,
19.82cm) even if you manually make the boxes 2cmx2cm, they still line up on
the grid at 19.82cm.
It seems that the grid increments are 0.1982cm not 0.2cm
Can anyone explain why or provide a sustainable workaround.
I am redesigning our corporate templates and we use the grid a lot
(mannually and pin pointing locations with macros).
