Hi,

My husband and I have both added a picture to a presentation in 2007, my
picture effects work fine but although he has the sam picture, style and
colours his effects i.e brevel, shadow and reflection are all greyscaled.

Is there a setting he needs to change.

Thanks

Hi,

The picture is fine, however, in the Picture Styles group we have a Picture
Effects command, sometimes these options are greyscaled and other times I am
able to use them. I tried this out with my husbands computer using the same
picture, I can use these options but my husband cannot.

I hope this is a little clearer.

Sounds to me like your husband has PPT 2003. Or maybe you saved it as a
PPT-format file, so he's opened it in PPT 2007 in Compatibility Mode. Until
you (or he) save the file as PPTX format, some features (bevels,
reflections, etc.) will be greyed out.
