I can't tell anything from Greenbrowser's site. Dunno if it's up-to-date.

The website says:

"GreenBrowser is free to download and use. If you think GreenBrowser is good
and want to support our work, you're welcome e for you to donate. After
that, we can provide the best support for you. We can customize some special
function for you, for example: adjust the menu and interface, add special
functions, make special plug-in, create customized version. Thanks for your
support!"

If you follow the link to donate, you are taken to a site where you can
purchase GreenBrowser for $20.00. GreenBrowser appears to be Freeware so
long as you don't mind the lack of support, and updates to allow plug-ins
and tweaking. Crippleware ?

If that were the case, then a lot of freeware would fall under that
category.

IMHO no, I consider it to be 'unsupported freeware' or 'freeware with paid
suport'.
