Green words on my display

Some of the functions on my keyboard (such as the volume up/down)
buttons cause green text to appear overlaid on my screen for a couple of
seconds.

Is there a standalone exe (or some accessible programming trick) that
would allow me to write my own messages in this way?

Appears to be a MultiMedia Keyboard program. Nothing much. Look in your
System Tray (Near the Clock) and check if any this kind of program exit. Exit
the program and now increase or decrease the volume. You may not get those
Green messages more. Just a simple program, not to worry about.

Hope this help, let us know!

Check the settings in the SetPoint software that you installed with your
Logitech keyboard.

Yes, but AFAIK there is no assembled program that does
so. However, searching Google would likely get you a
lot of hits for similar programs.

OK, I'm game. I shuddered at the prospect of Googling for "green text",
but it's Sunday tomorrow, so I have all day. I though I'd try here first
in case someone said "Try http://download.com/greentext.exe"
