Is there any way to change the color of the start menu button?

Hmmm. Never thought about it before now, but then, green is my
favorite color (really). <grin>

I'm not trying to revert my startmenu button back to the classic look. I
would like to make it Red, Blue, Yellow, or Orange.

If you see that page it contains all the information you really need....
since there are many visual styles around with various colors of start
buttons...

However here is some more info if you want to do it yourself and not search
for a ready made theme.

dowload and install styleXPand Stylebuilder
http://www.tgtsoft.com/

use stylebuilder to edit the visual style and the color of the start button,
it has a function there to colorize the bitmap to any color you want.

I used Style XP and StyleBuilder, until the 30 day were up. I didn't have
any problems with it.

I didn't have any problems with it.

The thing that gave me the willies was some registry hack to
allow changes to explorer.exe. If that goes bump in the night,
I'd be in real trouble.
