When I go into windows explorer and look at my winxp_d3 a
36gb drive.The photo files Jpeg and PSD files all show up
green and cannot be opened. Get an error " cannot open
this document because it is not a valid Photoshop document"
I think it is a permissions problem on the disk. Please
let me know. Thanks

Yes.

These files are encrypted, and can only be un-encrypted by the local user
who did it in the first place.

Right-Click file or folder and choose advanced button.

I set up the system where the only user is administrator
and when I cloned C drive to D drive then had to go back
D drive to C drive and only one directory on the E drive
did this. Right now I backed off all the files on E drive
to a backup file on D drive. When Format finishes on the E
drive I will restore the backup to E drive and check the
folder. I went into the folder and checked all children
are inherited form the parent three and four times to no
avail. I will let you know if this works. Steve
