Great Video No Audio

I am using dazzle DVC 80 and am trying to capture anolog VHS tapes to my
computer I would prefer to work in WMM2 but i cannot capture the audio
portion when i use the dazzel software both audio and video are captured any
help would be appreciated please do not be to technical as i am new to
computers
 
You perhaps need to be more clear on the problem. You say both audio and
video are captured, but you cannot capture any audio????????

When i capture directly to MM2 and then play it back there is no audio if i capture to dazzel DVC80 program then import it to MM2 the audio works fine.

VHS is difficult for a Digital Movie File..the quality is sometimes not worth
the trouble..the DELL Movie Studio and its Hardware components work OK..audio
is a problem to get exactly correct..my ROXIO Software has an Option called
DIRECT TO DISK..I have never used it..but would imagine you could set up a
VCR or analog camcorder to run DIRECT TO DISK..I used my Digital Palmcorder
to Capture a Political Speech useing ZOOM..when I Captured it directly to my
PC-software..the speeches were out of sync with the video..I had to connect
the Palmcorder directly to the VCR-Front Inputs..to have my film on a Media
Format..plus it was 4-hours long..too long for a DVD-Copy..so check out some
DIRECT Option.
 
I deinstalled everything Pinnacle/Studio 8 by using the ADD and Remove
feature and am using the physical hardware (DVC80- connected to my PC and
analog camcorder). I can input video and audio now. There in no audio when
capturing which I immagine is normal. When I play back the video clip there
is video and audio. After removing DVC80 software Pinnacle/Studio 8 I tried
importing video and audio using Roxio 6 and 7 and recorded video and audio.
Pinnacle Dazzle DVC80 is compatable with other systems if the hardware is
attached without loading Pinnacle Software/Studio 8. My suggestion is to use
Movie Maker 2.1 and it is free and can be downloaded with XP Service Pack 2.

I am capturing through DVC80 also without the Pinnacle software. When I play
the captured file the video shows but the audio does not play. I used the
G-Spot Codec analyzer and it reports that the capture file does contain audio
and that I have the codec installed.

Any clues? Thanks

Hi everyone

Is there anyone in the world who has got 'Dazzle 80' and has got it to work
successfully ??

Have been trying to transfer images from a "Sony CCD-TVR208E Pal" to my P.C
with this method of transfer without much success. Have got the picture
recording o.k. but am having all sorts of trouble with sound.
Is there somw 'genious' who can advise me as to what is the problem ??
