I just read a great book on computer crime - TRACES OF GUILT by Neil Barrett. Has anyone else read this?
Barrett was a hacker back in the days before the internet when phreaking was the most exciting way of breaking into a computer system. Now he patrols the other side of the fence as an expert witness in computer crime cases - and he lists some really interesting ones here, from hacking to denial of service attacks and even to how the police are using computer evidence to track and convict armed robbers and murderers.
Fascinating stuff. Read it now.
