I dont know where else to post this, so please help if you
can.
I have a older Dell system that was given to me by a
friend, but I cant get the sound to work.
It has win2000 pro, and I have admin rights.
I go to the sound and multimedia screen on the control
panel, and the "sound volume" is grayed out.
I have checked my device manager, there are no conflicts.
So, as far as I know everything is working.
I just can hear ANY sound...from any program. (media
player, CD, system)
How do I get that un-grayed?
Thanks,
Mike
