Gray type on ENVELOPES

Running WORD on VISTA

Type on envelopes ALWAYS prints with gray ink. Font set to AUTOMATIC or BLACK.

Any ideas?

We've seen similar problems with the envelope addresses, sometimes being
total garbage with certain fonts. It is usually a bug in the printer
driver - particularly with Lexmark and Brother printers. But are you sure
you have changed the font to Black in the Envelope Address Style and not
just with direct formatting?
 
In the Styles list - where that is depends on your version of Word which you
don't seem to have stated.
