Gravity newsreader problem

Hi,

I'm using the latest 2.60b version of Gravity news reader and an error
box has started to appear on both start up and close down, since I tried
to subscribe to an extra group. I removed the group straight away, it no
longer appears in my list of subscribed groups, but the error still
appears.

Opening up the 'more information' about the error, it mentions the
newsgroup as the problem, but an extra character is added onto the name.

How do I go about repairing Gravity to fix the problem please?

I don't know if it is still the same (SuperGravity underwent change in
some build 205x), but in my oldish 2039, the groups are stored in
separate files. So if you want to get rid of the annoying group, try to
remove ~\Gravity\newsdb\Servername\alt.annoying.file.g
