Yes, I have. They don;t understand the error either. They say the product
should
install on my system, but it does not. So, at this point I don;t know what
else to
do. The message specifys that my hardware does not meet requirements. That
is why I thought that if I could semd the log and scan to microsoft, they
could
better understand what happened. The msdn and visual studio work fine, and
are great products. I am open to any suggestions. I have read the help pages
provided, and they backup what you say, the product should install, but it
doesn't.
Thank you for your patients and help in this. If you find any anwers to this
at
microsoft, please let me know, in the mean time, I will explore the other two
parts of the product. The reason I said resolved, is because I am out of

Donna, going back over your thread again I have to question the 86 bit
graphic message. Perhaps this message is not referring to graphics but PC
architecture?
There are currently two common architectures seen - x86 and 64bit. "x86" is
a notation for a set of hardware that can run, at best, a 32-bit operating
system. The newer 64-bit systems are becoming very common in the home and
business place. The 64-bit systems can accomodate 64- and 32-bit operating
systems. The x86 systems cannot run 64-bit based operating systems or
software. You may want to look at that error message again to see if it's
actually referring to architecture rather than graphics?
Also, since you've had no luck here or in the SQL newsgroups, I'm going to
again suggest contacting MS support directly. The links I gave you before
have information for contacting formal MS tech support. The same
information for contacting them should be in with the literature that
accompanied the Enterprise package as well. These are the people that would
want to see and that could make the best use of the saved error information
that you have on hand.
Good luck to you with this. I hope you get it "resolved" (fixed) so that
the product is installed and working.
