i tried to install diamond stealth drivers and i get inf.
error not found in section 'source disk files'

Are you trying to install from cd or an update?
Did you follow install method?

i am installing update from diamond.com and followed all
orders

I have to assume you downloaded the correct update, from the Diamond site,
is it possible the update download was corrupted?.
I used to use diamond and confess all updates were ok
