Hello,
starting today all of the graphics on my screen have gone really weird, some of the colours are inverted and everything just looks distorted.
I have been having a lot of trouble with messenger recently, and it kept changing the screen resolution to 600x something which is huge. I manage to change it back ok and it looked normal when i turned the computer off, but today all the colours look distorted. Mostly it is everything around tha main window of a program, such as the toolbars and icons, and the icons on the desktop etc.

i keep running virus checks and have found three trojans on house doctor from trend micro, something which avg 6 failed to pick up on, but i looked up these trojans and they are really low risk and are just for advertisments etc. nothing to do with wrecking the computer.

doe anyone know what could be causing this?
im using windows xp and have all the updates from windows. Also i have IE6sp1, and messenger 6.1

hi i really really need more help with this. The menu bars and loads of the icons have now suddenly changed their style to classic windows insteasd of looking like windows xp. The colopurs are all still distorted and it is getting worse.

avg resident shield keeps popping up also saying there is a trojan horse proxy.2.ab on the computer and to run avg to fix it but this does nothing, as when i run avg it says it cannot be removed. Im not even sure if this is causing this anyway.

does anyone have ANY ideas?
