Graphics not all showing up in PP

After installing the last update to Office 2008, I opened up some
Powerpoint presentations and found that not all of the graphics are
displaying. I have blank pages where I'm expecting pasted photographs.
Since I teach and spend a lot of time giving PP presentations this is
a major concern. I really don't want to go through several thousand
slides and see what graphics are missing. So far, gifs seem fine, but
jpgs are inconsistent. Some show up, some don't.

You might want to ask your question in the Mac PPT NG

I started having exactly the same problem yesterday. I am on windows XP,
using PP 2002. Did not installed it recently.

I think that everything is looking alright when in "presentation mode", but
not when editing the slides.

Could it be that I inadvertedly pressed a combination of keys that turned an
option on or off?

Thank you!
