Hi- I think I may have asked you all this before &, if so, please forgive me.
I'm so tired of not having certain graphics displayed on IE pages-just a
blank space & the boxed red X. With all of the technology available to us I
must be missing something simple. Can I revert to a previous version of IE (
I have 6), download something, just deal with it, or what?
Thanks again-alan

If you're seeing red X's in IE6, it usually means that the
designers of the webs you've visiting didn't properly link
their graphics to the graphics files in their web's image
folder. In other words, their hyperlinks point to incorrect
or non-existent graphics files. Because of this, IE6
can't "find" the graphis files to dsiplayu. When this
happens, IE6 displays the infamous red X.

99% of the time, IE6 is not at fault. Reverting to a previous
version would not be a useful course of action.

If the site you're complaining about is your own, then you
need to fire up FrontPage, analyze your hyperlinks, and
correct the link errors. You can subscribe to

"microsoft.public.frontpage.client" to get detailed help.
