Graphics error

When i try to open my N64 emulator it says: Direct3D failed to initialize your HAL device, make sure you have a properly configured 3D graphics card compatible with Direct3D 6.0.

What can i do about this??

What is the graphics card you using? you'll probably have to set it to 16bit

sys_no_graphics

I purchased the game "hunting unlimited 2009" and I installed it and everything. My vid card is updated and it is direct x compatible and its version is 10. I run the game and the error appears "sys_no_graphics". Later is says "prism3d error or whatever. Anyway, I need help.
