Hi all .
Was thinking of upgrading my graphics card from the Geforce 4Ti 4600 128
mb.Don't really want to spend £300+ to get the latest as in 2 months it will
be worth £200(usually).

-- Remembering that the TI4600 is agp x4 and not fully DirectX 9 compattable
would it be worth buying say the FX5700 ??
Would there be much of an improvement using the 5700 ULTRA 256.
Presently I am playing Call of Duty fine with my Ti 4600 ,but would love to
be a little more future proof without spending too much.
Any suggestions would be welcome the price range would be around £150-£200.

If you play a lot of DX9 games you will see a reasonable
increase with the 5700 Ultra. OGL/DX7/DX8 games will be
a toss up, sometimes the 4600 will be faster, sometimes
the 5700 Ultra will be faster. There are 5900 SE/XT
adapters recently released that go for ~£200. These
should always be faster than a 4600 on any game.

The poster above is right! I have the following card I
bought from www.newegg.com (an awesome computer HW
website!)

The nVidia GeForceFX 5900XT in the above link is wayyyy
faster than any GeForce 4 line of cards at under $200.
Also its got a ton of new DX9 features that the GeForce 4
line does not have.
