Could someone point me to a location where I might find out the spec
for a Matrox 834-00 Rev A graphics card?

I've tried the Matrox website, but presume it is too old to be listed
(unless its known by another name).

Matrox Mystique G200 AGP

What did you need in the way of a spec?
It's an 8MB card, will accept an 8MB memory upgrade (16MB total then)
IF it has the memory slot on it... Memory upgrade is Matrox
proprietary, either SGRAM (if memory on it is larger, nearly square),
or SDRAM, if memory is thinner and 1.5X as long as it is wide.

It's an AGP1 card, capable of 2X, 3.3V operation, will not work in a
modern AGP2, 1.5V motherboard. A few years back I used to run one of
those and kept an archive of more current drivers, have a pretty good
selection of tools/apps/etc for it if you need anything specific that
you can't find on Maxtrox's website.
