Graphics Card Switched Off

Recently, i was having trouble with a program i was trying to run in XP
Stupidly , i turned the Graphics Card off. Windows asked me to confir
which i stupidly did and then the machine rebooted.

When the machine restarted, it goes as far as when the Windows XP star
up screen came on and then the screen went black. You can hear whe
booting up, but the screen remains black at all times.

If you wish to log off, you press the button and eventually the window
shutdown message appears.

I have tried everything to get the machine to starting workin
properly, but with no avail. CAN ANYONE PLEASE HELP AS I AM AT MY WIT
END!!!!!

Press F8 when you turn the machine ON... that will get you
the boot menu... You may be able to boot to safe mode and
get into the device manager or you can boot the recovery
console [if you have not installed it on the hard drive,
you'll need the XP CD].

I think you can also boot to the hidden ADMINISTRATOR
account and then reset the device manager.

Boot to safe mode. F8 just before Windows loads and it will ask you.
