Hello,

I just built a new system a AMD X2 3800+, 2.0 gigs memory,
MS-7125 board, and a Evga GeForce 7300 GS. My question is about my
graphics card. It is supposed to be a 256 mb card. But in the Everest
diagnostic program it comes as 512 megs. Am I incorrect about the card
or maybe because it is a dual core system it changes something? Any
advise would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Alissa

Your card has 256MB of memory actually on it. It supports a
Turbocache feature that allows it to also use an amount of
main system memory (which is much slower, you won't get good
performance if/when it is required to do that, which would
only be on a new(er) game with high detail settings, set).
That additional amount is 256MB also, for 512 total.
