Hi, I have an NVIDIA GeForce FX 5200 display adapter (I thought it was a
graphics card), and it's disabled. I've tried to play games like FS2004,
Halo PC, Conflict Global Storm on this PC, and they all used to work, but not
anymore. I've uninstalled all of them except Global Storm, and just now I
ran global storm, and it showed the computer as having no graphics card.
I have tried enabling the card, but the screen goes black, and then several
minutes (and sometimes several restarts) later, the PC says that it's just
recovered from a serious system error, and returned to a restore point.
If anyone has any ideas, please tell me.
Thanks in advance
Alex

If there is no other video interface card you are running in a generic
VGA/SVGA mode using windows generic drivers.
You may need to install/reinstall hardware specific drivers to get the video
interface working again.
From your email, it's really hard to tell exactly what hardware you have.
MBD & support chipset
Processor? Installed RAM?
Video card (FX5200) (How much video memory is installed on the video
interface card?)
Does the MBD have a built in video interface as well?
What video resolution are you using? It sounds like 800x600 will be the
most usable for the games if response is an issue
