Graphics card hotter in Vista than XP

I recently got a new graphics card (Nvidia 8800gts) and noticed in Vista its
about 5-6c hotter than XP. I understand its working in 3d mode all the time
in Vista due to Aero, but even when I switch to basic theme the temps dont
change. In Vista the idle temps are around 63-64c while in XP its around
58-59. Anything I can do in Vista, disable features, services or whatever to
bring the temps down?

If the temps are within spec, and you are not seeing any graphic artifacts
or experiencing system hangs- why worry?

If a problem you can buy an outboard fan easy enough. And make sure
ventilation is always
in good condition.... no fuzz in slots and so on.
