Graphics Card for Doom 3

Trying to Run Doom3 on a 1.7 Ghz PC. The on board graphics does not
support Doom. Looking for an inexpensive graphics card on ebay to
install that will support Doom3.

Any recommendations? Doom site says ATI 8500, 9200, etc among others.
Will 9250 work? Do the older cards support Direct X 9.0 or will I have
to use older Direct X driver?

You should get a true DX9 card, like the 9500Pro, or 9600Pro, at a
minimum. I'd think used ones would be quite cheap.
