Graphics Card and Built-in Subwoofer Issues

I have a Dell XPS M170 from December 2005

1. When I had Windows XP, the choice to view my graphics card interface was
an availible choice on the drop-down menu from right-clicking the desktop.
Also, when I use some programs, they say "No Graphics Accelerator Card Found".

2. My laptop has a built-in subwoofer, but Windows is not using it no matter
where sound is required - Media Player, Media Center, Games, etc.

If you could help me with these problems, I'd greatly appreciate them!

Well, I can only take SWAG's at these, but will give it a shot:

1. In XP, you had a utility program installed for your graphics card. That's
where the right-click menu options came from... do you have a utility
program for your graphics card installed in Vista? As to the "No
Graphics..." msg... what driver do you have installed for your video card?

2. Sounds like a driver issue... for your sound card.

More info, please... What flavor of Vista? Video card mfg/model, audio
mfg/model?

I have Home Premium edition. My sound driver is SigmaTel C-Major Audio. The
video card my laptop has is a NVIDIA GeForce Go 6800 Ultra (Microsoft
Corporation - WDDM)

I don't know if this helps.. let me know.
