I recently performed an xp repair install. Afterward, I noticed that my video
card, a Geforce FX 5200, isn't recognized by the system. I tried to
re-install it, but received a message that the drivers on the system weren't
compatible. Knowing that direct x 9.0c needs to be installed for this card to
work, what files should I look for to verify that this version of direct x is
still installed on my machine?

Thanks.

You might just try reinstalling DIrectX. That will ensure that it is
installed.

You need to first install the correct motherboard chipset drivers so
as to have the correct AGP slot driver. Once the AGP slot driver is
recognized, you can then install the drivers from www.nvidia.com.
