A few weeks ago I read on a forum somewhere that there was software which
would give a graphical representation of your hardrive so you could quickly
identify exactly where hardrive space was being take up with.

Since deciding that I had enough GBs not to worry with software like that,
I've quickly filled up my harddrive, and now can't find the said piece of
software. I've done a google on key words "windows harddrive free space
graphical", but no luck. Anyone using or know of this app?

Thanks

In searching for you, I've found a keeper for me! :)
Check this out: http://www.win.tue.nl/sequoiaview/

Not your usual graphical map. Free. Grab the zip file, no install needed.

It took about 2 minutes to examine my 20GB drive. Not bad!

DiskSpaceChart allows you to quickly and easily work out disk space
utilisation.

This small utility helps you work out where all your disk space has gone.
Ever wondered how much space is taken up by your 'Windows' folder. Now you
can do just that without using a calculator ! Shows a 3-D Pie chart
detailing proportion of your disk used by files.
Shows a list of folder or filenames with the percentage of disk space in
each folder or group of folders.
Can be used on any folder.
Quickly accessed from Windows ® '95,'98, Me and Windows NT 4.0, 2000
Explorer. Also accessible from the File | Open dialog of most Windows
applications.
Find facility to locate empty folders or 'large folders' or files of a
particular type.
Freeware, but you will get occasional nags to buy the full version.

Nagware, but worth a look IMO
