Hi
I have developed an access 2000 application which utilizes reports with a
graphic file as the background of the detail section. There are several
subforms placed over the graphic indicating details of various areas of the
diagram. When the report is viewed in print preview mode everything looks ok,
however when I print the report the graphic is omitted, as it is when
published with MS Word. this occurs if the graphic is embedded or linked.
The report is complete if exported as a snapshot.
Any help appreciated, thanks in advance.

1.) Graphics will NEVER export to Word rtf files. Access doesn't support
it. As you've found you can output to a snapshot or print it to a PDF file
if you want to retain graphics.

2.) On printing, you might do a few things like increase the dpi level for
your selected printer. Also you may want to update to the latest version
of the printer drivers for your printer (check with the manufacturer.)

3.) As always, be sure that you've updated Access to the latest service
release, which for Access 2000 is service release 3 which can be found at
http://officeupdate.microsoft.com
