Anyone here know of a graphic editor that will allow me to design and
make webpage graphics.....

Serif DrawPlus 4 - A pretty good vector graphics program - it isn't
CorelDraw, but it's pretty darn good for a free product. I don't know if the
free version of DP4 still has LogoPlus but V3 had it (the free version I'm
most familiar with). It was a handy little tool to quickly and easily
create business logos.

Serif 3DPlus 3 - A 3D graphics program - I've never used it, so I just don't
know about it either for good or evil, but like all Serif products, you'll
find people who love it and people who hate it.),

Serif WebPlus 6 - A web page creation tool with a user interface similar to
similar to Serif's popular PagePlus8. Actually, it IS PagePlus without the
Desktop publishing tools and the added ability to create HTML and upload
pages to a server. It's a pretty powerful product, but if you are used to
FrontPage or DreamWeaver, you will be disoriented for a bit. It has a
strange quirk in that you can't edit an uploaded page, instead, you save the
completed web site as a project file and THEN upload it to your server (it
converts the standard PagePlus files to HTML before uploading). To maintain
a published web site, you make changes to the project file and then upload
it again.

Obviously proper back-ups of the project files are very important with
WebPlus. If you need both hardcopy and identical web page copy,PagePlus 8
can do both (but it's not freeware-sorry to those who hate the mention of
payware here, but it seems an obvious next question, so I thought I'd get it
out of the way up front).

Pretty good support forums that the users of the free products can use as
well. I recommend them for hobbyists and both new and experienced casual
users. Professionals generally feel somewhat constrained with Serif
products.

In my experience this was a lie. They spammed me to death and trying
to get them to stop didn't work. If you're going to use their
software, give them a spam dump as an email address. Also, under no
circumstance give them your real phone number and-or home address.

YMMV.

Ok so if you give them a spam dump you dont get the code. I'm
assumming that a spam dump is a phoney email address. In that case you
will not get a code to enter to activate thr program. Is thier another
bunch of programs that will help me accomplish the tasks....instead of
going to serif

No, it's a working account with Yahoo for instance (like I have.) They
can spam that one all they want. However, they don't have my main
email address and can't spam that. If I'm looking for an email though,
I can easily sort it out from the junk. Besides, Yahoo has spam
filters in place.

Yes. But you're going to have to look around yourself for that. There
are freeware alternatives for each program that Serif offers. For
instance, a great photo editing program is Photofiltre, which is here:
