I had the same issue with the 82830M graphic driver. Here is how I solved
the issue. Boot to Safe Mode and disabled the second instance of the driver.
Upgrade software driver to version 1.47 for the first instance of the
driver. Use the Have Disk option to locate the drivers. Reboot via noral
mode and set display to your likings. I found that the second instance of
the driver attempted to use the same resources as the first and caused a blue
sreen.
