go to control panel on your comp. open, and then open
the system icon. it should have a hardware tab up top,
click that. then go to device manager tab in the middle
of the page. when thats open it will have a bunch of
items with + signs by them. about the third from the
top is one called display adapter. if you right click
that one, it will say uninstall. thats how you uninstall
it.
i checked your comp online and it says you have an ati
driver installed. go to the ati website (search ati in
google) and go to the site.
check your documentation for the name/make/model of your
graphics card. then search the site for the driver. it
should have an area with drivers on it.
www.ati.com is
the site. up top it says drivers and software. go to
that page. then you will click windows xp to select your
os. then graphics driver is what your looking for.
click that. then it says radeon family, rage pro family,
rage 128 family, and rage 128 pro family. those are the
graphics cards they have drivers for. from your
documentation, you should know what card you have. then
click whichever one you need and click go. then just
download it, put it into a folder. when its done, then
uninstall your old driver, restart, then hit the file you
just downloaded. it will put it in the right place for
you. if you need more help, just email me so i dont have
to go through microsoft newsgroup. that would be
easier.
