My hp keeps crashing because of a graphic device driver
failure....any ideas as to what this means?! I've
downloaded the newest drivers but it never helps. This
stupid machine will shut itself down if i'm running
multiple programs, or it will freeze, and then when it
has unfrozen itself it makes everything appear 4 times
the regular size (a single IM window will fill the whole
screen.) Does anyone have any ideas as to what I can
do?! I'm sick of dealing with this!

Jane,
Can you please send me your dxdiag.txt file?
1. Click on the Start Menu
2. Click on "Run"
3. Type "Dxdiag" into the Run box
4. Once Dxdiag has finished opening click on the "Save
All Information" button in the lower right hand corner.
5. Save the text file to your harddrive and send it to
me in e-mail

The Dxdiag.txt file will tell me what video card you are
running, what driver version you are running, and what
resolution you are running (among a few other Direct X
related drivers and files).

Also when you e-mail me this info if you could include
any other specific things about your systems.. Like make
and model, ect.

Can you also please send me the contents of the following
folder on your harddrive.
1. Go into the "windows" directory
2. Open the "minidump" folder
3. Send me all the files in that directory
Let me know if you have any questions.....

Thanks,
Aaron C. Smith
