Graphic card external power?

I was wondering if the PowerColor X800GTO 256MB DDR3 card needs to be conencted to the power supply? I have looked on the net and the guide etc and can't see anything about it. I have inserted teh card and it works but was still wondering if it needed it, although i couldn't see the 6pin slot on the crad any where.

If the card does not have a 4/6/8 pin power anything then ... no, non is needed. ;)

My 6600 does not ... :thumb:
 
Cool, i wouldn't of thoguht it would of worked if it needed the external power source would it? Oh, i have just bought Quake 4, i need to test my card out as i have no games yet lol.

Just so you are aware ... I did have to connect an extra power sorce for video to the MB, dispite it being 24pin anyway.
