Grand Theft Auto V (Five)

Today Rockstar released the first gameplay video.

It does look rather good doesn't it? Looks as though the mechanics have been changed drastically which is a good thing cos I must confess I got bored with GTA IV, probably only played about 30% through.

I did like GTA III though, almost finished that one.

I wasn't going to bother with the new one but looking at that trailer, well...
 
Whooooa that looks amazing! Never played a GTA game before but this one definitely tempts me to give it a try :D
 
I've actually pre ordered this.... On the 360! :o

Mainly because this gonna be months before we see a PC version, and the fact that a few of my mates have done the same, I have the 360 hooked up to the PC monitor anyway, so to the untrained eye it will look like I'm playing on PC! lol

Thats not to say I wont be getting it on PC though...

I'm back! :D

Been on holiday in Spain since last Saturday. Got home to find my GTA 5 Disc waiting for me on the doormat.

Installed just now. Now to play. I've got me some catching up to do! :D

I'm also interested in hearing what this is like, seems to have had good reviews across the board although some have mentioned it's rife with misogyny.

They had just better release this for PC at some time and if not then Rockstar can go.... ahem ;)

Strange time to release a major game, on the cusp of Xbox One & PS4 being released, I thought they would have waited, the marketing tie-in with both Microsoft and Sony would have been worth a fair few pennies.

About 30% though now. Its freaking awesome! Very funny characters and story. Trevor is hilarious.

Graphics are spot on considering the age of the hardware, very impressive.

Its been in dev for over 5 years flops, thats why its current gen only. Maybe we will see it ported to the XBone and PS4, might even see a PC version.....!

I'm holding off getting this for now, as it looks like there's a good chance that a PS4 version will come out - or at the very least a PC version :D.

It's incredible to think that the sales from this game topped $1 Billion in just 3 days :eek:.

Yeah I'd be amazed if it didn't come out for next gen and PC at some point, next year most likely. :)
