grammar spell check

The grammar and spelling check on my XP doesn't work and
hasn't since I installed XP about six months ago. Do I
need to uninstall and reinstall XP, or is there an easier
way?

What Grammar and Spell Check in "XP"?
Do you mean Windows XP?
(Assuming you do) - What gave you the impression that without Office or some
other installed (similar) application, you got Grammar and Spell checking?

You also have not pointed out what applications you speak of. I do not
believe you ever get Grammar and Spell checking in the original Notepad or
WordPad.

Google.. Wow. Isn't it great? Those are some of the choice results, hope

Side Comment for Steve.. I see "UK" there, do they spell "grammar" that way
in some place I did not know about, or might you need this advice as well?
