Hi,

Anyone knows of a way to scan and recognize multiple choice test forms
on a flatbed scanner? I used to work for a lady who designed the
recognition layout, and the software was looking for filled-in circles,
then created a report.

Is there a software package out there?

Thanks!

mockturtle wrote in Message-ID
(e-mail address removed) that he'd written a
package. Go to http://groups.google.com/advanced_group_search , put
that string into "find messages with this Message-ID" , press Search.
It's entirely possible he'll put the project up on Sourceforge or
something, so everyone who's interested can use it. Ask him; you have
nothing to lose.

If you meant "is there some commercial Windows multiple-choice test
grading software with a pretty interface?", then there probably is.
Something like that will cost money and not be hackable, though, and
where's the fun in that? HTH,
