Could someone with more knowledge of this subject please help me (tell me).
What is the power draw of the new 4650 and 4670 cards. A little Googling
seems to suggest that the 7600gs draws just 27W, but that doesn't sound
right to me...

Can anyone tell me the power draw of these 3 cards:

Standard PCI-express 7600gs (27W?)
Standard PCI-express 4650
Standard PCI-express 4670

I know none of them require an additional power connector which is good as
my current PSU doesn't have one. The current system runs from a 300W PSU and
I presume it is fairly well loaded - online calculators suggest that it
currently requires 234W. Question is, can I upgrade the GFX without
over-stressing the PSU?!?

HD 4670 is 47.1W max, as measured here.

Listed power numbers here, are 59W for 4670 and 48W for 4850,
and you could use the ratio of those numbers, to estimate
what Xbitlabs would get for the 4650.
