hi,
i have eight dcs, 6 are 2003 and 2 are 2000. One of my 2000 dc's, it's site
policy is uneditable because it gets and access denied error to gpttmpl.inf.
I noticed that in its policy folder on SYSVOL alongside gpttmpl.inf is a
file called gpttmpl.tmp which is the same size and date. Also, its
gpttmpl.inf has a different date then the rest of the dcs who have a
gpttmpl.inf with the same date.
What is this .tmp file? it is supposed to be there? Can I erase it, and copy
the gpttmpl.inf from another DC to the bad DC?
thanks.
